WHO WE ARE
Happy Trailz, launched in April 2022, makes it easier than ever to hit the road and create magical memories in nature. The Happy Trailz fleet includes campervans and teardrop trailers designed to explore the great outdoors.
Why van life? It truly is the ultimate adventure! Your home comes with you, allowing you to explore but still feel safe and comfortable. We supply you with everything you need for the most memorable trip so you can relax and embrace the journey. Enjoy cookware, cleaning supplies, table and chairs, blankets, towels, games, mini fridge and more, all included with your rental.

Our mission is simple — Happy Trailz was created with the goal of getting more people outside while giving back.

The day you’ve been waiting for! You will pick up your van from Ocean Beach, SD and hit the road. Adventure awaits!

I’m Stephen! I’ll be your go-to guy for any van-related questions. I’m super proud of the very cool fleet of vehicles we’ve built, and can’t wait for you to experience them! It’s our mission to make your road trip comfortable and stress-free.

Hi! I’m Jenny. I’m the one choosing the tunes on all our road trips (take a listen!). I love photography, and you’ll often find me snapping pics of our fleet and our awesome adventures. Most mornings, you’ll catch me out on a run.

Rufus
CHIEF HAPPINESS OFFICER
Woof! Rufus is a Goldendoodle with a lot of energy and love to give. He loves belly rubs, stealing balls at Dog Beach, and will never turn down a treat. If you love furry friends, Rufus can’t wait to meet you when you pick up your rental.

REAR-VIEW MIRROR
Jenny and Stephen, co-founders of Happy Trailz, met at the University of Scranton in 2013. Their shared love of the outdoors, hitting the beach and dancing the night away cemented their friendship. Even when they began their careers and moved away (Jenny to Colorado and Stephen to Arizona), they always kept in touch.
Then, in true rom-com style, they reconnected at a San Diego music festival in 2019 and have been together ever since (Stephen even popped the question in 2023–of course, Jenny said ‘yes!’).
Their love for the outdoors has been a life-long affair with road trips that have taken them from the Pacific Northwest to the deserts of Arizona and the mountains of Colorado. Exploring these beautiful natural environments of the USA has sparked their passion for the great outdoors.
Now, through Happy Trailz, they are honored to share their love of our incredible natural landscapes with YOU!
